Summary: 

The Project is located in the heart of Islamabad, in front of Prime Minister’s secretariat. GRC successfully managed traffic diversion over the three busiest routes of Islamabad i.e. Jinnah avenue, Nazim-ud-Din Road & Fazl-e-Haq Road. In order to construct the underpass a number of utilities were located.

Clearing & Grubbing – 0.29 MILLION FT²

Compaction of Natural Ground – 0.414 MILLION FT²

Excavation – 5.79 MILLION FT³

Embankment Filling – 1.8 MILLION FT³

Subgrade Preparation – 0.20 MILLION FT²

Granular Sub-Base – 0.34 MILLION FT³

Aggregate Base Course – 0.45 MILLION FT³

Asphalt Wearing Course – 0.12 MILLION FT³

Concrete – 0.88 MILLION FT³

Steel Reinforcement – 3,200 TON
