Summary: The project layout is planned on the right bank of siran river which is a tributary of the indus river. The project consists of several basic parts; civil works and mechanical works. The civil works include diversion and collection of water from river through intake, tunnel, surge tank and penstock. Diversion weir is located at the shortest possible width of siran river, where a tyrolean weir is proposed to be constructed. The powerhouse is located on a right bank of river siran.
